Supervision
Whereas spiritual direction is focused on a person's spiritual journey, supervision is an opportunity to talk about the work or ministry in which they are engaged. Sometimes there is overlap between these two areas, but there are important differences also.

Areas in which I am available to supervise people include spiritual direction, pastoral ministry/leadership (both clergy and lay), chaplaincy and other forms of ministry. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Professional Supervision, completed through Wintec, and have helped to establish and teach within the PGCertTh (Ministry Supervision) programme through Laidlaw College. Although I have counselling training (PGDipCouns, Waikato University), I do not supervise counsellors as I am not currently working as a counsellor, nor am I member of a professional association of counsellors.
